The National University of Malaysia (UKM) is a public university located in Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor and is one of five national research universities in Malaysia. UKM owns a branch campus in Kuala Lumpur, in Cheras has been built a teaching hospital, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre (UKMMC), and set up institutes nationwide.
