On July 10, the “2024 Taiwan-Malaysia Semiconductor Forum: Working Together Toward a Brighter Tomorrow” concluded successfully at the Connexion Conference & Event Centre in Kuala Lumpur. This forum was hosted by National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) and co-organized with Universiti Malaya, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, and Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman. The event has attracted more than 100 participants from academia and industry. Prominent scholars and international corporate leaders from Taiwan and Malaysia discussed the current state and future development of the semiconductor industries, as well as the governmental policies, academic cooperation, and shared their expertise in the semiconductor field. It is hoped that by focusing on the needs of the industry, the government and the academia will work together to cultivate semiconductor talents and help the semiconductor industry on both sides of the border to flourish and create a bright future together.
