2026 Taiwan-Malaysia Biomedical Forum: Next-Generation Biomedical Challenges and Opportunities
Since its inception, the Taiwan-Malaysia Forum has served as a premier platform for academic and industrial exchange between the two nations. Building upon years of success in the semiconductor sector, the 2026 Forum marks a significant evolution as it officially transitions to the Taiwan-Malaysia Biomedical Forum.
The 2026 event will be held in Penang, Malaysia, jointly organized by National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU), the Institute for Research in Molecular Medicine (INFORMM), and the Collaborative Microelectronic Design Excellence Centre (CEDEC) at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). In response to post-pandemic healthcare demands, this year’s forum explores how microelectronic innovations empower biomedical advancements, bridging the gap between next-generation technologies and clinical applications.
